Clovis St. Romain’s participation in the Leadership Development Seminar, at Haggai Institute’s Maui Mid-Pacific Center in 2002, proved to be a turning point in his life, providing what his Christian walk needed and confirming the ministry, to which he felt God was calling him. Upon his return to Antigua, he founded Proclaim Gospel Ministries, as an outlet through which he could conduct leadership and organizational training for Church groups and leaders in fulfillment of his commitment to the Haggai Institute.
Over the past 18 years, Clovis has facilitated more than 1,800 hours of training and reached more than 2,600 persons with various aspects of leadership and organizational Christian ministry development training. He is the first Faculty member of the Haggai Institute from the twin-island Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda.
Clovis is a business and spent over 25 years at management level in sales and service companies in the Caribbean nations of Guyana, Antigua and St. Kitts. He is Managing Director of Business Success Institute a private consultancy company with a vision to provide support services to other businesses in Antigua and the wider business world; also manages a small service-related company.
Clovis currently serves his Church’s District Organization as Chair of its Discipleship Ministries Board as well as its Finance Committee. He is also the Coordinator for Discipleship Ministries across the Caribbean Field of his denomination, responsible for territories spanning Belize in the northwest and Suriname in the southeast.
Clovis and his wife, Jennifer, have two adult children and make their home at Briggins in the southern suburbs of St. John’s, the Capital city of Antigua & Barbuda. When he is not busy with his other pursuits, he enjoys reading, writing, following international politics, sports and listening to Gospel music.
